ベルリンには、フリードリッヒ大王が作らせた伝統のStaatsoperという国立歌劇場があるが、訪れた際には前年ながら大規模な改修工事中だった。

そこで、ドイツ・ベルリン・オペラの方に行くことにした。

場所はベルリンの中心部からは少し離れており、Uバーンで西に向かい、Deutsche Operという駅で降りると、すぐ目の前にオペラハウスが建っている。
